Our
Process

IT STARTS WITH A MEETING

Every project is different. Every video we make is unique. We don't use cookie-cutter templates or packages. We meet with you to determine what your goals are and work with you to give you the best possible solution for your budget.

CREATIVE

Our team develops a concept or idea to solve the issues established in the initial meeting. We write a script or outline that details the dialogue and shot list.

If needed, we create a storyboard to visually map out each shot to ensure we tell the story with words and pictures.

PRE-PRODUCTIONwe

We plan all the logistics, including locations, cast, crew, and equipment needed and schedule dates for shooting.

We present a budget that covers all aspects of production, from crew to equipment, and make sure the project stays within budget. We never go over budget without written approval from the client. NEVER.

We select the actors, voice talent, and crew members who will work on the video, including director, camera operators, sound technicians, etc.

We choose the locations where the video will be filmed and secure necessary permissions if needed.

Production

The BIG DAY can seem chaotic. The crew will be busy setting up equipment, including cameras, lighting, sound, and props. The actors will be getting their hair and makeup done and getting into their wardrobe.

We shoot the video according to the script and storyboard. This usually involves multiple takes and angles.  FYI.. we rarely shoot in sequence. We shoot scenes that are grouped together by location and lighting and then move to he next shot so we can be as efficient as possible.

You will have access to a video monitor so you can see exactly what we are shooting. The monitor also allows us to review the footage for picture and sound quality.

Post-Production

After the shoot day, we compile all the footage, identify the best takes and begin the editing process.

As we approach the final edit, we clean up the sound, adjust the levels and add sound effects and music.

Any special effects, graphics, or animations are added to the final rough cut.

Scene by scene we adjust the color and tone of the video to ensure the scenes match and look as good as they can.

Last, we make the final adjustments to any voiceovers, sound effects, or music to enhance the narrative and emotional impact.

We then submit the video to you for feedback and make any necessary revisions.

Distribution

Once the video is approved, we render the final video into the appropriate file format and resolution.

We deliever the video to you so you can publish it on social media platforms, your website, digital advertising channels, or TV stations.

Each of these steps can vary depending on the size and scope of the project, but this is the general flow of how LOCO produces a video from start to finish.
