I first became interested in making films by watching a TV show as a kid about the making of some movie I don't remember. What I do recall is the film crew building a really long wooden track through the woods so they could to push the camera dolly really fast as a group of men on horse back rode through the trees. It all seemed kinda cool to me. That got me started making 8mm films in high school.
Over the last 30 years, I’ve shot over 1500 commercials and videos including three Super Bowl commercials, one of which was recently voted to be one of the top 50 Super Bowl commercials of all time.
The biggest budget I ever had for a commercial shoot was $4 million. We shot three commercials for Carnival Cruise Lines. The campaign featured the music of the Beach Boys, Cyndi Lauper and Sly and the Family Stone. The smallest budget was zero. We gladly donated our time to the Pediatric Aids Foundation in Chicago.
I launched LOCO VIDEO CONTENT soon after moving to Longmont. My wife and I dreamed of living in Colorado since the early 90's. And now we are officailly LONGMONSTERS.
